Gary Hicks is a follower of Jesus, the Saviour of the world. He’s from Canada’s Maritime Provinces, with mixed ancestry — English, German, Irish, French, Mi’Kmaq (Canadian First Nations). He’s a pastor, hymn-writer, and blogger living in Frederick, Maryland, USA. Gary is grateful to be married to his fairest, dearest friend. He has two strong, opinionated daughters, four intelligent grandchildren and one delightful foster grandchild, all living nearby. (He is blessed!) He enjoys walking and playing music with friends. He enjoys people and travels to eastern Canada and Nicaragua every year.
